Sending International Payments from a Business Account

How to send international payments from a business account

You can transfer money internationally using Wise.

  1. Tap the Pay section in your Monzo app

  2. Tap the Payments icon in the menu bar

  3. Tap Transfer internationally

The first time you use this, you’ll need to give us permission to use your Wise account. If you don’t have one of these, we’ll create one for you when you send the money.

Before you can send your first international payment using Wise

If you’re a limited company

We might need to ask you for more information on your company’s directors, officers or beneficial owners. A company director on the account must give us this.

After they’ve done that, anyone with access to the business account can transfer money internationally.

If you’re a sole trader

Only the person who’s the account admin can set up international payments with Wise. Once that’s done, anyone with access to the business account can transfer money internationally.
