1p Savings Challenge Interest (2025)
If you have Extra, Perks or Max, you'll earn 3.25% (AER) variable interest on your 1p Challenge savings.
We’ll pay the interest into your Challenge Pot on the 1st of every month, as long as it’s 1p or more. That means that depending on when you've joined the challenge, you might need to wait until the following month to get paid interest.
The rate is variable, which means that we can change it.
You'll earn interest until your challenge ends. At the end of your challenge, you can keep saving, invest or move it to your personal account.

The 2026 Saving Challenge is now available to join
The 1p Saving Challenge has closed for new challenges but you can join the Saving Challenge (2026).
If you already have an active 1p Saving Challenge, you can take part in both the saving challenges at the same time if you’d like.
