What Zurich mean by ‘family’
Get multi-trip cover for you and your family around in the world, including the US and trips in the UK. You’re even covered when you’re not travelling together.
By ‘family’, Zurich means your spouse or legal partner (including any couple in a common law relationship living permanently at the same address) and financially dependant, unmarried (or not living with their partner) children aged 19 years old or under at the start of a trip (or aged 21 years old or under at the start of a trip if still in full time education).
Family members must be named on the policy. Exclusions apply.
Get family cover for travel insurance, phone insurance and breakdown cover for an extra £5 a month.
General conditions
There are conditions you need to meet for the cover to apply. These are some of the main ones, but for a full list read the terms and conditions. Qover's privacy policy can be found here.
You / your partner have to be 70 years of age or younger. But you must be 69 or younger to apply for a Monzo Max account.
You can’t make claims related to pre-existing medical conditions.
You must take reasonable care to prevent needing to make a claim. You should act as if you don’t have cover and minimise the risk of losing valuables or an incident happening.
If you need to cut your trip short, you must contact Zurich on +44 (0) 20 8156 2610. They’re open 24/7 to give advice and help you get home.
You have to contact Zurich right away in the event of an emergency or if you go to hospital.
You should contact Qover within 30 days of being aware that you need to make a claim.
