Missing cheques: when to get in touch with us

If you posted a cheque to us more than 7 working days ago and we haven’t been in touch with you about it, chat to us.

We need to know:

  • the date you sent the cheque

  • if you sent it using freepost or tracked (share the tracking number if you have this)

  • the amount and currency – we only accept cheques in UK pounds (£)

  • the name(s) on the cheque

  • if you wrote your account number and sort code on the back
