What are the fees for a Monzo Pension?

You’ll pay fees both to us and the fund manager. The funds we offer are all managed by BlackRock.

In total you’ll pay 0.43% of your investments value in fees annually.

Monzo fees

We charge a fee of 0.25% annually (or 0.20% if you’re a Max or Perks customer). Fees build up daily, and we’ll collect them on the same day each month straight from your pension. We round the fees down to the nearest £0.01, and collect them on or around the 10th of each month.

Platform fees are capped at £250 a year (or £200 with Monzo Perks or Max). Once your combined investments and pension grow beyond £100,000, you won’t pay any yearly platform fees on the amount above that. When you hit the fee cap, your total fee is split proportionally based on how much you have in each account.

BlackRock fees

BlackRock charges a fee of 0.18% annually for managing the fund your pension invests in.

BlackRock’s fees are taken from your pension fund directly, so you won't see them come out. It’ll reduce the value of the fund you’re invested in instead.

You can read more about your pension fees in the fees document.
