Monzo Business: Getting paid fees
Fees depend on how your customer pays you.
Bank transfers
Free for you and your customer
Usually arrive quickly, but can take up to 24 hours
Card payments (via Stripe)
Stripe takes fees before the money reaches you:
€0.25 + 1.5% (standard EEA cards)
€0.25 + 1.9% (premium EEA cards)
€0.25 + 2.5% (UK cards)
€0.25 + 3.25% (other cards)
+2% if currency conversion is needed
Examples
If you’re paid €20 with a standard European card, you’ll receive €19.45
If you’re paid €100 with a UK card, you’ll receive €97.25
If you’re paid €50 with a non-European card, you’ll receive €48.12

Monzo doesn’t add extra charges
Your first card payment may take 4–7 days to arrive
Future payouts are usually quicker
