Receiving money with Monzo

There are a few ways you can receive money into your Monzo account:

P2P payment (from another Monzo customer)

Another Monzo customer sends money to you from their contacts list. These payments arrive instantly.

  1. Go to the Payments screen

  2. Tap Request money

  3. Select a contact

  4. Select the amount

  5. Tap Submit

Pay Anyone link request or QR code

You can receive money using a link or QR code someone shares with you.

  1. Go to the Payments screen

  2. Tap Request money

  3. Select By QR code or link

  4. Select the amount

    1. If sharing via QR code, your friend can scan your QR code

    2. If sharing via link, tap Share link instead
