Receiving money with Monzo
There are several ways to receive money into your Monzo account.
From another Monzo customer
Another Monzo customer can send you money instantly by selecting your contact from Payments.
Get paid using your QR code or payment link
Go to Payments.
Tap the QR code icon in the top right corner.
Enter an amount (optional).
Show your QR code or tap Share link.
The sender scans your QR code or opens your payment link and completes the payment.
The money arrives once they've finished the payment.
By bank transfer
Share your IBAN so someone can send money from another bank.
To find your IBAN:
Go to your Home screen.
Tap Account details.
You'll see your account name and IBAN there.
If you're asked for an account number and sort code, you can find these from your IBAN:
Your account number is the last 8 digits of your IBAN.
Your sort code is the 6 digits before your account number.
Most employers will only ask for your IBAN, but some older payroll systems may still ask for an account number and sort code.
