Using your Monzo card abroad
You can use your Monzo card to pay anywhere in any currency, fee-free. We pass Mastercard's exchange rate directly on to you, without sneaky fees or extra charges. We won’t block your card if we see you using it in a different country.
Cash withdrawals abroad: We have a single global ATM offering – we don’t treat withdrawals in the EEA and outside the EEA differently. We charge a 2.5% fee for cash withdrawals that are over your allowance. Allowances are based on your account type:
Personal & Joint Accounts: €300 fee-free every 30 days.
Important things to note:
Your allowance resets 30 days after your first withdrawal.
Allowances are shared across any personal and joint accounts you have.
Some ATMs may charge their own fee, which we do not receive.
