Monzo Business: Customising your spending in Insights
You can customise your spending to fit your needs, so you get the most accurate picture of your finances.
Creating Custom Categories:
If you have a Monzo Business Pro or Team account, you can create your own custom categories in the app.
Tap on a transaction.
Tap the category at the top to change it.
Then, select the option to create your own category.
Whenever you spend with that merchant again, the payment will automatically go into your new category.
Excluding Categories from Your Cash Flow:
By default, Savings and Transfers are excluded from your cash flow so they don’t affect your net income. Here’s how to exclude other categories:
Head to the Insights tab in the app.
Select the Cash flow tab and scroll down to Excluded from cash flow.
Tap Edit and tick the categories you want to exclude.
Tap Done.
