Under 16s: Payment links
Your child’s payment link lets friends and family send money straight to their Under 16s account.
How it works
Anyone you share the link with can pay using an Irish debit card (they don’t need Monzo)
They can add an optional nickname and note
You (the parent/guardian) will be notified and can see the payment details in your app
Limit (rolling 30 days)
Your child can receive up to €250 total using the payment link in a rolling 30-day period
“Rolling” means we look at the last 30 days from today, not a calendar month
If payments received by link in the last 30 days add up to €250, no more link payments can be received until an older payment is more than 30 days old
The app shows how much of the €250 is still available
If something isn’t working
Link expired: the link may have been reset — share the newest link from the app
Limit reached: payments won’t go through until some allowance becomes available again
