How to sign up for a business account online

Use this link to apply.

We’ll ask you for your email address. If you already have a Monzo personal account, you must use the same email for your new business account.

Next, we’ll send you an email with a magic link. Tap the link to carry on.

We’ll then ask for your full name, date of birth and UK home address (you won’t need to do this bit if you already have a personal account). We’ll also need proof of your business address, your registered company number or name (if you’re a limited company), and unique tax reference number.

If you’re a limited company and there are other people who have significant control over the business (sometimes called ‘beneficial owners’), we might need to check their identities. Read more about this.

Once you’ve given us these details, and a little bit more information about the business, you’ll see a QR code. Scan it to download our app to your phone.

All done? Open up the app and tap ‘I already have a Monzo account’. Then log in using your email address. To finish off your application we’ll need you to send us a quick video of yourself and some ID so we can check you are who you say you are.
