Getting help and support for fraud

If you’ve been the victim of fraud, you can get in touch with us and other organisations for support.

Contacting Monzo:

Complaints: If you’re unhappy with the outcome of a fraud report, you can raise a complaint with us. If you’re still unhappy after our final response, you may be able to take your complaint to Banco de España. You’ll need to complain to us first. If you’re not happy with our response, or you do not receive one within the relevant timeframe, you can then escalate it.

Other support:

INCIBE offers a free, confidential national cybersecurity help service and guidance on reporting fraud. The Policía Nacional has an online reporting route, and Banco de España provides consumer banking information and the complaints escalation route for supervised firms. The European Consumer Centre in Spain can help with eligible cross-border consumer disputes, though not criminal fraud cases.
