You can check whether you're eligible for a personal overdraft in the Monzo app without affecting your credit score.
Check your eligibility
Tap the Home icon.
Tap your profile picture.
Scroll to Your personal account.
Select the three dots near your balance
Click the following options
Learn about overdrafts - if you're not eligible
Set up an overdraft - if you're eligible
Manage your overdraft - if you already have one
Checking your eligibility won't affect your credit score.
How we decide eligibility
We can only offer overdrafts to customers who meet our eligibility criteria.
We assess eligibility using information we hold about your account, along with information from the Central Credit Register.
