We take data privacy very seriously. To give you the best support and meet our responsibilities as a bank, we sometimes need to process sensitive information about you. This can include information about your health or biometric data used for facial recognition to protect your account.

We do this in line with data protection law and will never share your information outside of Monzo unless we have your permission or are required to by law. You can read our full policy on how and why we process your data in our Privacy Notice.
