Winter Cashback
Winter Cashback is a limited-time offer available to eligible Monzo Ireland personal customers between 2 November and 31 December 2026.
If you qualify, you'll earn 5% cashback on eligible card spending for 60 days, up to €30 in total.
Who can get Winter Cashback?
New customers aged 16+: Sign up between 2 November and 31 December 2026, including through a referral.
Existing customers: Complete a qualifying Ireland-to-Ireland referral during the campaign. Your friend must make a qualifying card payment within 30 days of claiming the referral and before 31 December.
New customers qualify from signup, even if their referral isn't complete. Existing customers qualify once their referral completes. We'll enrol you automatically.
When does my cashback start and end?
Your cashback lasts for 60 days from when you qualify:
New customers: Your 60 days start when you finish signing up.
Existing customers: Your 60 days start when your qualifying referral is completed.
You can continue earning cashback after 31 December 2026 if your 60-day offer is still active.
Why haven't I received cashback?
There are a few possible reasons:
Your payment is pending: Cashback is added once the merchant collects it.
Your payment wasn't eligible: Cash withdrawals, gambling, cryptocurrency and money transfers don't qualify.
Your offer wasn't active: Cashback only applies to payments made during your 60-day offer.
You've reached your limit: You can earn up to €30 cashback over your 60-day offer. Once you've reached this amount, you won't earn any more cashback.
Your payment was cancelled or refunded: This can affect cashback.
You've already received it: Check your Rewards balance.
Cashback is based on the final payment amount.
How do I withdraw cashback?
Open Rewards on your Monzo Home screen and tap Withdraw underneath your cashback balance.
Any remaining available cashback transfers automatically when your offer ends.
