Missing "give & get" referral reward
If you've referred someone and were offered a referral reward in the app, but it hasn’t come through yet, don’t worry — it usually means something is still in progress.
Here are a few things to check:
Referral link and signup
Your friend used your referral link
They entered their phone number when starting
They signed up using the same phone number
They opened a Monzo Personal account
Timing
The 30-day window starts when your friend enters their phone number
They need to open their account and make a qualifying payment within those 30 days
Qualifying payment
Physical card, Apple Pay, Google Wallet and virtual card payments can count
ATM withdrawals, transfers, declined payments, reversed payments and refunded payments do not count
Eligibility
Your friend needs to be completely new to Monzo
They can’t have had an account or applied before
The person who referred them must be within their monthly and lifetime referral reward limits
