How to send a referral link
Open the Monzo app
Go to the Home screen
Tap the 🎁 icon in the top-right, or tap Refer someone
Choose how you want to share your link
How it works
Your friend taps your referral link and enters their phone number
They download the app and sign up using the same phone number
They follow the steps shown in the app
Important to know
Your friend must use your referral link
They must use the same details throughout sign-up where required
They must meet the eligibility criteria for the offer
The steps needed to qualify will be shown in the app
When a referral reward may be paid
If you and your friend meet the requirements for the referral offer shown in the app, a referral reward may be paid once all the steps have been completed.
This can include things like opening the account, meeting the eligibility criteria, and completing any actions shown in the app.
About referral amounts
We may, at our discretion, offer different, higher or lower amounts for completed referrals. The actual amount you receive will be confirmed in the app and we'll refer to this as “the bonus”.
