Invite friends to Monzo
This article explains how to refer someone to Monzo and how referral rewards work if you're the person sharing your referral link.
If someone referred you, you'll need to sign up using their referral link, enter your phone number before signing up, and make a qualifying payment within 30 days to receive your bonus.
Open the Monzo app
Go to the Home screen
Tap the đ icon in the top-right, or Refer someone
Choose how you want to share your link
How it works:
Your friend taps your link and enters their phone number
They download the app and sign up using the same number
They open a Personal account and make a qualifying payment within 30 days
When the 30 days start:
The 30-day window starts when your friend enters their phone number.
What counts as a qualifying payment:
â Physical card, Apple Pay, Google Wallet and virtual card payments
â Bank transfers, cash withdrawals, declined, reversed or refunded payments
Important:
Your friend must use your referral link
They must use the same phone number throughout
They must be completely new to Monzo
Your referral link can only be activated by up to 10 friends per month, with a lifetime maximum of 100 friends
Your monthly limit resets on the 1st of each calendar month, unless youâve reached the lifetime limit
The reward is paid once the account is opened, a qualifying payment is made within 30 days, and eligibility has been confirmed.
