You can get free, confidential, and impartial guidance about a range of financial topics from these organisations in Ireland.

  • Budgeting and Debt: The Money Advice and Budgeting Service (MABS) is a free, confidential service that helps with money management and debt problems.

  • General Money Guidance: Citizens Information provides a free, impartial information service on your rights and entitlements.

  • Financial Insecurity: The Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVP) is a charity that provides practical support, including financial assistance, to those facing hardship.

  • Illegal Money Lenders: If you've borrowed from an illegal lender, you should contact the Central Bank of Ireland or the Gardaí.

  • Internet Access: The Hi Digital course helps people develop digital skills, while other projects work to provide devices and access.

  • Government Support: The official Government of Ireland website, gov.ie, provides a wide range of information on public services.
