Switching between Business Lite and Business Pro

If you're an Admin on the account, you can switch between Business Lite and Business Pro any time. You can compare the features of each account tier using our comparison table.

If you'd like to upgrade to Business Pro, or downgrade to Business Lite, you can do this in the Monzo app:

  • Head to Settings

  • Tap on your business account

  • Select "Change account type"

  • Confirm that you'd like to change your account type

If you're upgrading to Business Pro, you'll be charged £5 per month, with your first month free.

You'll be charged on a monthly basis, on the same day of the month that you upgrade your account.

You need to get in touch with us if you want to downgrade and you have other account admins.

If you'd like to downgrade to Business Lite and you have more than one admin on your account, you'll need to get in touch with us to remove the other admins first. You'll be able to downgrade once you've paid any outstanding fees, and you'll lose access to your Pro features as soon as you downgrade.

So you know, account collaborators cannot switch account types.
