I can't connect my mortgage to Monzo

With your consent, we work with TransUnion who can show us the mortgages you have on your credit file. You can read about how to connect your mortgage here.

There are a few reasons why you might not be able to connect your mortgage to the Monzo app:

Your address might not match the one held at TransUnion. If you can't see your credit score in the Monzo app, make sure your personal details (like your name and address) are up to date. If they're not, TransUnion might not be able to find your credit file. You can check and update your personal details with Monzo following these instructions:

  • Head to the Home tab

  • Tap on your profile icon (if you can’t see that, swipe down on your card)

  • Tap on the settings cog

  • Tap your name, then scroll down to the details you need to update

Your mortgage is new. It can take 2-3 months for new mortgages to appear in the Monzo app. If you got this mortgage recently then you might need to wait until 3 months after your mortgage starts and check again.

Your mortgage isn't submitted to TransUnion. A small proportion of mortgages aren't submitted to TransUnion, so we don't have access to them. Almost all mortgages are reported to TransUnion - it is unlikely that this is the cause unless you’ve got a mortgage with a smaller bank or building society.
