Using or changing your PIN

You can change your PIN at ATMs from any of the major high street banks by selecting the PIN options. We recommend doing this in Spain, as changing your PIN may not work in other countries.

ATMs can show different options and instructions, so the exact steps for changing your PIN will depend on the ATM you’re using. Look for the PIN options and follow the instructions on screen.

To help keep your account secure, there are some easy-to-guess numbers we don’t allow as PINs, like your date of birth or 1234. If your chosen PIN isn’t accepted, choose a different set of numbers and try again.
