Monzo are building a smart bank on your smartphone and we need your help to create the bank of the future.

Enter your monthly take-home target to see your estimate.

You'd need to invoice {{ invoice }} a month to take home {{ takeHome }}. Monthly cuota {{ cuota }}, income tax {{ tax }}.

After tarifa plana, you'd need to invoice

Save {{ amount }} a month in cuota for your first year

Reasonable cover without stretching your budget now.

Higher cuota. More cover for sick pay, pension and other benefits.

Lower cuota. Less cover for sick pay, pension and other benefits.

Your cuota goes into Social Security. It covers your pension, sick pay, and parental leave — amongst other things.

Your final amounts will vary. This is a rough guide.

Type an exact amount or drag the slider to explore.

How much do you want to bring home each month?

Enter an amount between {{ min }} and {{ max }}

Based on your answers, you may qualify for tarifa plana, reducing your cuota to around 88,64 € a month in your first year. That’s an €80 baseline plus 0,9% MEI on the minimum contribution base.

To keep it, you'll need to stay registered and keep your Social Security payments up to date.

This is an approximate figure to help you plan. Spanish IRPF (Impuesto sobre la Renta de las Personas Físicas) is progressive. We use standard assumptions to estimate IRPF and don’t account for regional rules, personal circumstances, or other deductible expenses.

Everyone gets a tax-free personal allowance around {{ allowance }} a year for a single person with no dependents. We take that off before working out what you owe, which is why an estimate below it can show {{ zero }}.

We work from your net profit: what you invoice, minus expenses. We’ve assumed the standard 5% deduction Hacienda allows without receipts, capped at {{ cap }} a year. If you’ve got more business expenses to claim (like office rent, tools, professional services, or travel) your real tax bill may be lower than this.

Some autónomos have IRPF withheld from their invoices, and others make tax payments during the year. We don't model these payments separately because they're advance payments towards your eventual IRPF bill, rather than additional tax.

This estimate isn’t designed for residents of the Basque Country or Navarra, where different personal income tax rules apply.

This means the amount that actually reaches your account from an invoice will likely differ from the figures shown here. This is general guidance. For the exact figure, check with your gestor when you file.

We estimated this from your projected income and the contribution level you chose.

Includes: Pension, disability pension, temporary disability/sick pay, caregiver leave.

Mecanismo de Equidad Intergeneracional — MEI (approx. 0,9%)

Contingencias profesionales (approx. 1,3%)

New autónomos may qualify for the tarifa plana, which reduces the cuota payment for the first year.

Cuota is your monthly autónomo contribution to Social Security. See more information about your cuota in the 'Select your contribution' section below.
