Closing a joint account

You can close your joint account at any time. First, you or the other account holder will need to withdraw all the money from the account. After that, you can close it directly in the Monzo app.

Please note that we cannot convert a joint account into a personal one. If one person wants to close the joint account, we’ll close it for both of you.
