Cancelling Monzo Plus

You can cancel Plus from in the app at any time by clicking here. You may have to pay a cancellation fee depending on how long you've had it for.

If you cancel, you'll lose all your Plus benefits, like your interest, custom categories, connected banks and more. Your virtual cards will stop working, so you'll need to update the payment details on any online subscriptions you have linked to a virtual card. You'll also need to order a Hot Coral card to replace your Plus holographic blue card.

To cancel, go to your Plus tab in the app, tap "settings" at the bottom of the screen. You should then see an option to cancel.

Cancelling within 14 days

If you cancel your Plus plan within the 14 day cooling off period, you won't be charged a cancelation fee. However, if you ordered a holographic blue card when you signed up to Plus, you will still be charged £5 for the cost of the new card.

Cancelling within the 3 month minimum term

If you cancel within the 3 month minimum term, and outside the 14 day cooling off period, you'll be charged a £5 cancellation fee.

Cancelling outside the 3 month minimum term

Cancellations outside the minimum term are always free.

Heads up We've stopped selling Plus. You can keep it and continue using your benefits. But if you cancel (even by accident) or move to a new plan, you won't be able to sign back up to Plus.
