Changing your preferred name

You'll need to chat to us through the app to change your name.

If you're only changing your preferred name you don't need to provide ID in your new name, but you're welcome to provide it!

If you want to change your legal name and your preferred name at the same time you'll need to provide some form of ID with your new name. This can be something like a drivers licence or passport issued after your name change, or a marriage certificate or deed poll.


Here's how to chat to us:

  • Tap the Help icon in the menu bar
  • Search ‘Changing your preferred name’
  • Tap Get in touch at the bottom of the article
