Under 16s: Opening the account
Opening an Under 16s account is simple – you just need to have a Monzo current account first. If you don't already have one, you'll need a photo ID to apply.
Once your current account is ready, you can easily add an Under 16s account.
Tap the + sign on the top right of your Home screen.
If you don't see it, tap Explore and then Accounts and plans.
Choose the Under 16s account option.
During sign-up, you'll answer a few questions about your child, including their date of birth. They need to be between 6 and 15 years old.
