Helping your child log into their account
Once you’ve opened an under 18s account for your child, you can help them log into the Monzo app on their own device.
Your child can log in using their email address, or you can show them a login QR code from your Monzo app.
Log in with an email address
First, add your child’s email address in your app:
Open your child’s account.
Tap the three dots.
Tap Manage account.
Go to your child’s details.
Add their email address.
Then ask your child to:
Download the Monzo app.
Tap I already have an account.
Enter their email address.
Follow the steps in the app.
Log in with a QR code
You can also show your child a login QR code:
Open your child’s account.
Tap the three dots.
Tap Show login QR code.
Your child then needs to:
Open the Monzo app.
Tap I already have an account.
Choose QR login.
Scan the QR code.
QR codes expire, so you may need to generate a new one if it stops working.
