You can get free, confidential, and impartial guidance about a range of financial topics from these organisations in Spain.

  • Budgeting and Debt: Finanzas para Todos offers free tools and guidance to help with budgeting, managing debt, and understanding your finances.

  • General Money Guidance: Banco de España provides consumer information on everyday banking and other financial topics.

  • Financial Insecurity: Cáritas provides support to people facing hardship and exclusion in Spain.

  • Illegal Money Lenders: If you’ve borrowed from an illegal lender or have been threatened, you should contact Policía Nacional or Guardia Civil. If your complaint is about a supervised financial institution, you may also be able to complain to Banco de España.
