Add a payment to your Bills Calendar

Bills Calendar helps you see upcoming bills and recurring payments in one place, so you can plan your spending.

It can show payments like Direct Debits, subscriptions and scheduled payments, organised by date.

Where to find Bills Calendar

  1. Open the Monzo app and select your account.

  2. Go to Payments → Scheduled payments.

  3. If you see Calendar and Manage, select Calendar to view upcoming payments by date.

You can select Manage to see your scheduled payments list.

Business Banking customers with access to scheduled payments can also open Bills Calendar from the calendar icon in their Activity Feed.

How to add a recurring payment

Some payments appear automatically. If a recurring payment is missing, you may be able to add it manually.

  1. Open Bills Calendar.

  2. Tap the + button.

  3. Choose Track an existing payment.

  4. Select the payment from your transaction history.

  5. Choose how often it repeats.

  6. Confirm.

You can choose daily, weekly, every 2 weeks, every 4 weeks, monthly, quarterly or yearly.

Adding a payment helps you track upcoming spending. It won't create a new payment instruction or send money automatically.

Why can't I find a payment to add?

Only eligible recent payments are available to add.

Payments that are already tracked as subscriptions, repeating payments or scheduled payments won't appear again.

Declined payments, payments under €0.50 and person-to-person payments also can't be added through this journey.

You can use Search when choosing a transaction to help find a payment.

How to schedule a new payment

If you want Monzo to send money automatically on a future date, tap the + button in Bills Calendar and choose Set up a new payment.

You can also go to Payments → Pay someone.
