💰 Adding money

Your parent or guardian can add money to your account. They can also share a payment link so family and friends can send you money.

Under 16s accounts don’t have an IBAN.

Money from your parent or guardian

Your parent or guardian can:

  1. Go to your card in their Monzo app.

  2. Tap the 3 dots ‘...’ icon.

Then they can choose:

  • Add money to send you a one-off payment.

  • Schedule pocket money to send you money automatically.

Money from family and friends

Your parent or guardian can share a payment link with family and friends.

They’ll need to:

  1. Go to your card in their Monzo app.

  2. Tap the 3 dots ‘...’ icon.

  3. Go to Share payment link.

  4. Follow the steps to share the link, reset it, or view the limit.

You can receive up to €250 every 30 days from payment links.

If the person sending money doesn’t have Monzo, they can send up to €100 in one payment.

If they bank with Monzo, they can send up to €250 in one payment. This uses your full €250 limit, so you won’t be able to receive any more money from payment links until 30 days have passed.
