Missing "give & get" referral reward

If you've referred an account and were offered referral reward in the app, and it hasn’t come through yet, don’t worry — it usually just means something is still in progress.

Here are a few things to check:

Referral link and signup

  • Your friend used your referral link

  • They entered their phone number when starting

  • They signed up using the same phone number

Timing

  • The 30-day window starts when your friend enters their phone number

  • They need to finish signup and make a payment within those 30 days

Qualifying payment

  • A physical or digital card payment has been made.

  • For Business banking this must be a minimum of €25

Eligibility

  • Your friend needs to be completely new to Monzo

  • They can’t have had an account or applied before

Please Note: We may, at our discretion, offer different, higher or lower amounts for completed referrals. The actual amount you receive will be confirmed in the app and we'll refer to this as 'the bonus'.
