Are Savings Jars secure and FDIC insured?
All money held in your Savings Jars is insured by the FDIC - up to the full $250,000.
All money held with Monzo - including any money in Savings Jars, Expense Jars, personal accounts, and joint accounts is FDIC insured at all times, following the FDIC’s standard policies.
ℹ️ Please note - we currently have a limit on the total balance you can hold in your Monzo account. Between your main balance and your Expense Jars, you can have up to $100,000. Then, you are allowed to have an additional $100,000 inside of your Savings Jars.
