Inviting your friends and family to join Monzo has never been easier:

Once your friend accepts your invitation, they'll receive instructions to the mobile number they provided on how to complete the next steps of their referral.

Make sure they’re using the right phone number - if your friend does not use the same mobile number to accept your referral invitation and to apply for the account, neither of you will be eligible to receive the referral bonus.

FYI: The referral link will expire if not claimed within 14 days. If the invitation expires, you’ll have to repeat the steps above.

Once your friend has successfully opened their Monzo account, you’ll receive a notification and an update in your Referrals hub! Your friend will be able to enjoy our much-loved subscription plan, Monzo Pro, free for 30 days, and you’ll have $20 added to your account.

Remember, you’ll earn the $20 cash bonus for up to 5 friends who successfully join Monzo. You can continue to invite as many friends as you like, but the maximum cash bonus you can receive is $100 per month.
