What are Jars?

Jars are a way for you to separate your money away from your main balance.

You can create or archive a Jar whenever you need - and you have up to 20 Jars at a time 🍯

When a Jar is open, you can transfer money in and out as often as needed. You can even set up a recurring schedule for on these transfers to help automate your savings. We’ve also built a tool called Salary Sorter that lets you automatically organize your paycheck into multiple Jars each time you get paid.

Jars can be used similarly to a savings account - where you can create several for specific goals, like emergency funds or vacations.

But Jars can also be used to budget for certain expenses - like setting aside a balance for groceries at the start of the month, and slowly spending from it as the month goes on.

Jars are super flexible - so you can use them one way or the other, or combine multiple approaches đź’µ
