Is Monzo Pro available for joint accounts?
Monzo Pro is currently unavailable for our joint accounts.
However, all Monzo joint accounts have the following features, regardless of whether you or the other account holder have Monzo Pro on your personal accounts.
Interest on Savings: All joint Savings Jar balances will earn 3.75% APY (Annual Percentage Yield).
Access to Jars: Organize your finances by creating up to 20 Jars in your joint account. This is a combined limit for both Savings Jars and Expense Jars.
Early Payday: Paychecks paid directly into your joint account can arrive up to 2 days early.
Joint account spending is not eligible for the 2% cashback on Groceries or Eating Out, even if you have an active Monzo Pro subscription on your personal account. This benefit is exclusive to your personal Monzo Pro account spending.
Personal vs. Joint Account Features
While you need an active personal Monzo account to open a joint account, the features and subscription status of your personal account are separate from your joint account. Your personal account will operate under either the Monzo Base (free) plan or the Monzo Pro plan (if you subscribe). This choice for your personal account does not change the standard features listed above for your joint account.
