What fees are charged for receiving international transfers?

There is no fee for receiving international payments which have already been converted to GBP. For payments received in non-GBP currencies, we'll charge a 1% conversion fee, you’ll receive the market currency exchange rate plus a 1% conversion fee, with a maximum fee of £1,000 per transaction on payments we do convert.

So, for example, if you receive a non-GBP payment worth £100, we will take a £1 fee.

We’d recommend having the payment sent in the sender's local currency where possible That way you’ll always receive the market currency exchange rate with our 1% fee. It’s worth checking with the sender what their bank charges, to see whether receiving GBP would work out cheaper.
