Max individual and Max + family travel insurance

When you upgrade your Monzo account to Max, you have the option to add family members to your phone, travel and breakdown cover for an extra £5 a month.

If you go for the family option, when it comes to your travel insurance, you and the family members you add to the policy are even covered when you're not travelling together.

What 'family' means in terms of your travel insurance By ‘family’, Zurich means your spouse or legal partner (including any couple in a common law relationship living permanently at the same address) and financially dependant, unmarried (or not living with their partner) children aged 19 years old or under at the start of a trip (or aged 21 years old or under at the start of a trip if still in full time education).

Family members must be named on the policy. Exclusions apply.

Max is £17 a month, or £22 a month if you add your family.
