The differences between Max individual and family breakdown cover

When you upgrade your Monzo account to Max, you have the option to add family members to your phone, travel and breakdown cover for an extra £5 a month.

What 'family' means for breakdown cover You and your family members get what's called 'personal cover' – which means you're all covered as individuals, rather than a certain vehicle being covered. That means that anyone you've added to the policy is covered in any valid vehicle as a driver or passenger.

By 'family', RAC means partners and dependent children aged 19 years old or younger (or 21 years old or younger if in full time education) living at the same permanent address.

Family members must be named on the policy. Exclusions apply.

Max is £17 a month, or £22 a month if you add your family.

Must be 18-69 to apply • 3 months minimum • UK resident • Ts&Cs apply
