Accepting easy bank transfers from a payment link
What’s an easy bank transfer?
These make it fast and simple for your customers to pay you using a link. You can add these links to your invoices, or send them separately.
How do they work?
All your customers have to do is tap on a button in an invoice or the payment link itself. That will take them to their bank’s website or app to approve the payment. There, they’ll see the amount you’ve asked for and your Monzo Business account details – so there’s no need for them to manually type anything in.
There are some banks we haven’t connected to yet. If your customer has an account with one of those, they can still transfer you the money in the usual way using your Monzo Business account details.
How long will it take for the money to arrive in my bank account?
The money should arrive straight away. But it can take up to 24 hours. That’s the same as a normal bank transfer.
Easy bank transfers are powered by Open Banking technology and the Faster Payments Scheme.
