🛟 Staying safe
There are simple but important things you can do to help keep your account safe.
Keep your PIN secret
Don’t share your PIN with anyone or post photos of it online.
When you use a cash machine, always check your surroundings and cover the keypad with one hand while you type in your PIN.
If you use your PIN to login into your Monzo app, make sure nobody's watching over your shoulder while you enter it. Even better, use finger or face-ID instead.
Keep your card details private
Don’t share your card number, expiry date or CVC with anyone.
Don’t post photos of your card online. Your card has important details on it that someone could use to spend money.
Use Face ID or fingerprint scanning
Face ID or fingerprint scanning is a safe way to log in.
To turn it on:
Go to your Home screen.
Tap your profile image in the top left corner.
Go to Settings.
Go to Privacy & Security.
Turn on Face ID/Fingerprint to unlock and pay.
Keep your phone safe
Your Monzo is linked to your phone, so only let people you trust use it.
Don’t tell anyone your phone’s passcode.
