Move up the waitlist by referring a friend
If you're on the Monzo waitlist, you can tap Move up in the Waitlist Hub to refer a friend.
How it works:
Open the Monzo app and go to the Waitlist Hub.
Tap Move up.
Choose how you want to share your invite link.
Send the link to your friend.
Your friend opens the link, enters their email address and joins the waitlist.
Once your friend joins using your link:
Both you and your friend move 25% closer to the front of the waitlist, based on your own current waitlist positions.
If either of you is already near the front of the waitlist, you may move up by fewer places.
Important things to know:
Moving up the waitlist doesn't guarantee Early Access.
You'll still need an invite to apply and complete sign up.
Referring a friend doesn't trigger the €25 personal account sign-up reward or the €50 business account sign-up reward.
Sign-up rewards are limited to the first 10,000 personal banking customers and the first 1,000 business banking customers. It's paid only after you make your first card payment.
For personal accounts, you can get your sign-up reward by making a purchase using your physical card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or a virtual card.
For business accounts, you can get your sig-up reward by making a purchase using your physical card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Virtual card purchases don't count towards card activation.
