I signed up with a referral link, how can I add money to my account to earn my reward?
Many of our referral promotions will require that you add money to your Monzo account - and the specific ways you can add money will change depending on the promotion.
š¤Ā Here are the requirements for our current $20 promotion:
You must add a total of at least $10 using the eligible methods listed below.
Examples of eligible ways to add money ā
Bank transfers made inside the Monzo app from other accounts you own
Using another bankās app to send money to Monzo
Adding money to Monzo with another debit card from another bank
Direct deposit from an employer/benefits provider
Sending money to you account from an app like Cash App, Venmo, Apple Cash, etc.

Please note that the following categories do not count towards the the $10 requirement š
Direct transfers from other Monzo customers
Money earned by referring others to Monzo (i.e. referral rewards)
We do not offer the ability to add money using cash deposits, check deposits, or wire transfers
