How can I check if I used a referral link correctly?

If you used a referral link to sign up for your Monzo account - there are a couple things you can check.

Before you sign up, when you are sent a referral link - we recommend double checking the details on that page. Different referral links may contain different offers than each other.

By reading the details on the referral link you were sent - you can see what reward you can get by signing up for Monzo. If the link doesn’t a mention any rewards - that link is not eligible for any promotions we may be running.

Once your account is open using a referral link, you can tap the 🎁 icon on your app’s home page - and you will see a button labeled “Your referral status”.

This option will show you the requirements for the promotion you signed up with - and it will allow highlight the remaining steps you need to complete to earning your referral reward.

ℹ️ Please note: You will only see this button if you signed up with a referral during a promotion. At times where we have no promotions running, even if you use a referral link to signup - you will not see the button and you will not be eligible for any rewards.
