If you’ve sent a Golden Ticket but your friend is having trouble using it, ask them to get in touch with us directly, either:

If you're having issues with the £5 bonus after sign up, make sure the following applies:

  • your friend signed up via the link you sent, not by downloading the Monzo app and signing by themselves
  • money has been spent on the new card (either online, in store or by Apple/Google Pay)

Any credits are applied after these two steps, but let us know if you're having any issues with this 😊
